Council on Aging seeking award nominations
Council on Aging of Southwestern Ohio is accepting nominations for its 2009 Annual Awards Program. The awards recognize caregivers, volunteers, students and professionals who work to make life better for older adults.
Winners will be honored at COA's 38th annual dinner on Tuesday, March 17 at the Sheraton Cincinnati North Hotel in Sharonville. Nomination forms and more information are available at www.help4seniors.org. Deadline to submit nominations: Feb. 6.
The award categories are:
- Outstanding Senior Citizen Award
- Community Service Award
- Outstanding Caregiver Award (two awards in this category):
- Paid Home Health Aide
- Unpaid Volunteer/Family Member
- Outstanding Meals on Wheels Service Award
- John Wycliffe Fleming Youth Award
About Council on Aging
Council on Aging of Southwestern Ohio (COA) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for older adults and their families.
