Peckham appointed to Warren Elderly Services Program Advisory Council
Charles Peckham, Jr., of Morrow, has been appointed to the Warren County Elderly Services Program Advisory Council.
Peckham is the administration and operations pastor at Montgomery Community Church.
For nearly 20 years, he held various positions at Otterbein Homes, including president and chief executive officer of Otterbein Service Corporation and executive director of Otterbein-Lebanon Retirement Community, one of the largest retirement communities in Ohio.
Members of the Warren County Elderly Services Program Advisory Council are appointed by the county commissioners to oversee and set policy for the program that helps older adults remain safe and independent in their homes.
Supported by the county's Senior Services levy, the Elderly Services Program provides housekeeping help, home-delivered meals, personal care, medical transportation and other services. It serves about 1,600 clients at any point in time and served a total of more than 2,100 clients in 2008. The program is administered by the Council on Aging of Southwestern Ohio. Warren County Community Services, Inc. provides intake and care management services.
