COA opens satellite office in Hamilton to better serve residents of Butler County

To better serve older adults and people with disabilities in Butler County and to help them remain independent in their homes, Council on Aging has opened an office at 870 N. Washington Ave. in Hamilton. The office is open Monday-Friday from 8am-4:30pm.

The new office provides work space for COA staff who spend most of their time “in the field,” visiting Butler County clients in their homes. It is also permanent workspace for COA staff working with plan members of Molina Health Care who are receiving services via the state’s new managed care system, called MyCare Ohio.

“Council on Aging staff are working throughout Butler County every day, serving more than 5,000 residents enrolled in in-home care programs,” said Ken Wilson, Vice President of Program Operations. In addition, we manage the county’s Elderly Services Program and work closely with provider organizations based in Butler County. It made sense to open an office here.”
