Southwestern Ohio Warming Centers, December 2022

Southwest Ohio Warming Center Locations and Hours

In the Greater Cincinnati area, you may call the United Way resource line by dialing 211. They will be able to direct you to the nearest warming center.

If a warming center is not open near you, good options for staying warm include visiting a restaurant, shopping mall, community center, or a local library.

CRC Centers operate as warming centers during the winter season. The Corryville Recreation Center will function as an emergency warming center on Saturday 12/24, Sunday 12/25, and Monday 12/26 from 10 AM – 6 PM.

Two Colerain area churches, as well as two public libraries, will open as warming centers on Friday, Dec. 23.

  • White Oak Christian Church | 3675 Blue Rock Rd. | Friday, Dec. 23: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  • Vineyard Northwest Church | 9165 Round Top Rd. | Friday, Dec. 23: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  • Groesbeck Public Library | 2994 West Galbraith Rd. | Friday, Dec. 23: 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
  • North Central Library | 11109 Hamilton Ave. | Friday, Dec. 23: 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Greater Cincinnati Homeless Coalition
Friday, Dec. 23, Saturday, Dec. 24 and Sunday, Dec. 25:

The Winter Shelter at Shelterhouse (411 Gest St.) will be open additional hours each of these days. They will be open Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 7 pm to 8 am each day.

There will be two primary warming centers open Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 10 am to 6 pm at the Over-the-Rhine Rec Center (1715 Republic St., enter from Race St.) and the Corryville Rec Center (2823 Eden Ave.).

Metro bus service will offer free rides to these locations through 6 pm, Friday, Dec. 23.
