COA is pleased to announce that Jeremy Welch has joined the agency in the newly created role of Vice President of Program Integration and Compliance. In this role, he oversees the agency’s integrations, compliance, and Medicaid-related clinical training functions and serves as its HIPAA Privacy Officer.

Jeremy spent the early part of his career in manufacturing and engineering roles at several well-known organizations, where he developed expertise in project management, process improvement and operational efficiency. He later transitioned into healthcare, bringing this toolkit to Ascension, one of the nation’s largest Catholic health ministries. There, he served as Director of Strategy and Operations for Ascension St. Vincent, supporting clinical and operations teams at the Indianapolis campus. He also directed operations at the William K. Nasser Healthcare Education and Simulation Center, advancing clinical training and innovation. During the COVID-19 pandemic, Jeremy played a pivotal role as Lead Operations Section Chief, helping guide the hospital’s response and assisting in leading Indiana’s largest vaccination clinic.

In 2021, Jeremy transitioned within Ascension to become Executive Director of its newest Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE). In this role, he led the development, oversight, and management of Ascension Living St. Vincent PACE, building the program and team from the ground up into a resource that now provides care to older adults across 11 counties and 47 ZIP codes in the greater Indianapolis region.

Jeremy holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Purdue University and a Master of Science degree in Human Resource Development from Villanova University.
