Kudos goes to two Council on Aging staff who recently received COA honors: Haley Allgood and Sharon Weis.

Haley, a Care Manager in the Clinton County Elderly Services Program, was awarded the Care Manager of the Quarter award. Her nominator shared:

• “Haley is a constant leader in our team. She is always willing to assist with complicated situations and takes on extra work if needed to allow team members to catch up.”
• “She is a great example of the let’s get it done right and take care of as many people as we can with positive attitude motto that COA values.”

Sharon, a COA Human Resources employee, was honored with the Values Champion of the Quarter award. Her nominator shared:

• “Sharon is the embodiment of teamwork and consistently goes above and beyond to support her colleagues. Even when operating at full capacity, she prioritizes helping others by answering payroll questions and assisting with issues to ensure smooth operations.”
   
• “Sharon demonstrates compassion through her unwavering care and empathy for her colleagues and those we serve. She takes the time to listen and respond thoughtfully to the concerns and needs of her coworkers, always ensuring that they feel supported and valued.”
