Health & Wellness Programs

Council on Aging offers a variety of free health and wellness programs designed with older adults and caregivers in mind. While each program is different and designed to meet a specific need, all programs share a common goal: To help you better manage your health and live life to its fullest.

Free Health and Wellness Workshops

Our health and wellness workshops address a variety of health needs from managing arthritis or diabetes, to fall prevention and pain management. Workshops are offered at convenient community locations (some are available virtually) where you can learn from peers and leaders who understand your needs and experiences.

The workshops are intended to support older adults age 60+ and their caregivers of any age.

USDA Senior Farmers’ Market Program

Available seasonally, this federally-funded program provides coupons for eligible low-income older adults to redeem at farmers’ markets and roadside produce stands.

Congregate Meals

Congregate meals, funded by the Older Americans Act, provide safe and nutritious meals in a group setting that sustain and improve participants’ health and reduce isolation by promoting socialization. We contract with qualified service providers to prepare, deliver and serve meals at sites across our five-county service area.
