COA is a Benefits Enrollment Center

Looking to save on Medicare costs? Talk to us about reducing expenses!

As an official National Council on Aging (NCOA) Benefits Enrollment Center (BEC), Council on Aging supports Medicare beneficiaries, including older adults age 65+ and individuals with disabilities who have limited income, to access benefits and programs that can help them pay for food, medications and more!

We may be able to assist you with applying for one or more of the following benefits at no cost:

Prescription Drugs

  • Medicare Part D Extra Help/Low Income Subsidy (LIS) Program

Health Care

  • Medicare Savings Programs (MSP)
  • Medicaid

Nutrition Assistance

  • Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), formerly food stamps

Is there a fee?

There is no charge for Council on Aging to work with individuals to determine their eligibility for one or more of these benefits, or to assist with applying for them.

A COA team member will provide as much assistance as is needed to apply for benefits. This often includes help with gathering required documentation and submitting applications.

To find out if you qualify for any of these programs and assistance with applying, contact Council on Aging at (513) 721-1025 , menu Option 2.
