Cindy has been a home health aide with the agency for the past 11 years. According to agency nominator Emily Schacht, “During that time she has truly become someone both customers and staff can rely on. She consistently shows up ready to work and focuses on providing the best care possible. Cindy rarely calls off and is always dependable, which brings comfort and stability to the seniors she serves.”

Cindy receives ongoing compliments from customers, including: “Cindy is the best, is a self-starter, doesn’t have to be told what needs done, and does a great job,” and “Cindy does a very good job. With Cindy my mom cooperates and does not refuse showering anymore.”

Clermont Senior Services home care scheduler, Kathy, said, “Cindy is really good with the customers and they love her.”

One of Cindy’s customers, Linda, shared, “Cindy is excellent, thorough, and there’s not much she can’t do.” Cindy assists Linda with bathing twice a week and completes seven transfers each visit, as Linda is wheelchair-bound and uses a stair lift to access her upstairs bathroom.

“These transfers require patience, physical effort and careful attention to safety, and Cindy handles each one with confidence and care. She never complains and always maintains a positive, supportive attitude, making the customer feel safe,” said nominator Emily.

“Beyond her role at Clermont Seniors, Cindy is also a caregiver to family members in her personal life. This further shows her compassionate nature and her deep commitment to caring for others, both on and off the clock,” Emily said.
