Council on Aging is excited to partner with Real Roots Radio to bring important aging-related information directly to Clinton County residents through a new monthly radio program, Answers on Aging.

Hosted by Real Roots Radio General Manager, Joe Mullins, the program airs the first Tuesday of each month at 8:30 a.m. and highlights local services, resources and issues that impact older adults and caregivers in our community. The goal is simple: help residents learn about programs that support independence, health and quality of life as we age.

“I’m so thankful we can provide information that will be very beneficial to seniors in the region,” Mullins said. “And remember, we can be heard on AM, FM or tell Alexa – Play Real Roots Radio!”

The first program featured Council on Aging’s Clinton County Older Adults Home Modification Program, which helps eligible older homeowners make safety improvements and repairs that allow them to remain independent at home. The next installment airs  Oct. 6 and features a conversation with Clinton County resident and COA Board of Trustees member Sally Buchanan about the Clinton County Senior Services Levy and the services it helps make possible for local older adults.

We appreciate the opportunity to partner with Real Roots Radio to connect with residents throughout Clinton County and share information that can help older adults and caregivers navigate the aging journey.
