Organization helps people live well with Parkinson disease

April 1, 2026

Parkinson Support & Wellness (PSW) is a local nonprofit organization dedicated to helping people across Greater Cincinnati, Northern Kentucky, Dayton and Southeastern Indiana live well with Parkinson disease.

PSW supports individuals with Parkinson disease, care partners and families through education, connection and access to wellness resources. A cornerstone of PSW’s work is its financial grants program, which provides funding to local Parkinson‑specific exercise, therapy and voice programs — helping reduce cost barriers so people with Parkinson disease can stay active, engaged and independent.

More than $150,000 in grants were awarded last year, directly supporting programs that improve quality of life in our community.

Throughout the year, PSW brings people together through education and shared experience. Our signature events include the Harvey Chyette 2026 Spring Educational Forum, the Parkinson Steady Strides 5K Race & Walk and Caregivers Day, which offer learning and support. The theme of this year’s Harvey Chyette 2026 Spring Educational Forum on April 25, in Mason, OH, is “Navigating the Parkinson Journey with Purpose, Courage, and Compassion.”

Featured keynote speaker, Veronica Sterling, a former CEO of Hospice of Southwest Ohio, has experience helping people navigate the unplanned journey of chronic disease. The day will be full of great speakers, generous sponsors and an engaging exhibit hall, along with practical information and meaningful connection. Registration is free for participants and includes lunch, making it easy to attend and focus on learning and community.

Whether you are newly diagnosed, living with Parkinson disease, or caring for a loved one, PSW invites you to register and attend the Harvey Chyette 2026 Spring Educational Forum and be part of a welcoming, supportive community.
