Educating and Inspiring Area Professionals at the 2025 Forum on Aging

More than 360 professionals from across southwestern Ohio attended Council on Aging’s 2025 Forum on Aging presented by Global Meals.

The Forum on Aging gathered social workers, nurses, nursing home administrators, and various other professionals to gain insights from distinguished keynote speakers, workshop leaders, and panelists. Taking place at the Sharonville Convention Center, participants had the chance to earn up to 12 continuing education credit hours over the course of the two-day conference. This event remains highly beneficial for attendees, thanks to the generous backing of over 45 sponsors.

Workshops featured topics relevant to professionals who work with older adults and people with disabilities, including:

  • Understanding Trauma and Implementing Trauma-Responsive Care
  • VA Panel: Understanding benefits and services for veterans
  • How Lifelong Personality Traits Impact Dementia Care
  • Resilience in Care: Understanding Mental Health and Practicing Self-Care
  • The Typical Progression of Dementia and How to Help

Planning Committee Shapes Conference with Today’s Professionals in Mind

Meetings typically last about two hours and are held at Council on Aging’s offices in Blue Ash or online.
