Flexible and fulfilling careers for Licensed Social Workers and RNs

If you’re looking for a fulfilling career that also lets you be home for dinner and weekend fun, you’re in the right place! Our Care Managers have flexible work hours, and most work out of their homes when not on client visits, giving them an excellent work/life balance. While working as a Care Manager, you will experience the rewards of helping older adults and people with disabilities remain safely in their homes … where they want to be. Additionally, we offer LISW supervision, part-time positions, reimbursement of LSW or RN licensure fee if obtained no more than 90 days before hire and many opportunities for advancement.

Deneen, ADRC Manager

COA tenure: 15 years

Most rewarding thing about working at COA: I’ve always appreciated opportunities to serve, support and advocate for senior citizens and individuals with disabilities. Being a part of the Council on Aging team allows me to use my skills to create a positive and lasting impact in the lives of others. COA’s mutual effort and company culture is the fuel that feeds my desire to continue to serve, support and advocate for our clients, caregivers and community. It’s a great place to be for me and I am truly thankful for the opportunities I have been given here.
Most memorable experience at COA: Winning the “Why my Team Should be Voted COA’s 2018 Team of Year” essay contest. We wrote about what we do every day at COA and it was great to share in that celebration of service and support with my team and the whole agency.

 *$2,000 bonus available to those hired in the following positions: Elderly Services Program Case Manager, Aetna Care Manager, Molina Waver Service Coordinator, PASSPORT Care Manager, Positive Choices Care Manager, Specialized Recovery Services Program Recovery Manager. Bonus payable after completing 90 days of satisfactory employment. $250 bonus available to those hired in the following positions: Elderly Services Program Case Manager, Aetna Care Manager, Molina Waver Service Coordinator, PASSPORT Care Manager, Positive Choices Care Manager, Specialized Recovery Services Program Recovery Manager.
