Warren County offers many options for kids-at-heart (aka. older adults) to enjoy the days’ warmer temperatures. Whether you’re looking to explore Lebanon, Morrow, Springboro, Waynesville or Oregonia, adventures await.
Up for a little wining and dining?
If you are looking for good food and drink, consider visiting Ohio’s oldest hotel and restaurant, Lebanon’s iconic Golden Lamb, has played host to an array of noteworthy guests (including 12 US Presidents!) during its 220-year history.
Just a short drive south in the City of Morrow, Valley Vineyards is the second-largest estate wine grower in Ohio and opened in 1969. It offers seasonal tastings, cookout-style dinners and more special events.
Be entertained
For a truly unique take on “dinner and a show” you can head to Springboro’s La Comedia Dinner Theatre for a tasty buffet-style meal and award-winning Broadway-style entertainment.
Lebanon’s Miami Valley Gaming challenges guests to try their luck on more than 2,000 electronic gaming machines. One of the Midwest’s most action-packed racinos, it’s also home to a tasty array of delicious dining options.
Shop. Shop. Shop.
Small town shoppers won’t want to miss the 100+ local shops that call the charming downtown streets of Lebanon, Springboro and Waynesville home. Waynesville, in fact, has long been known as theAntiques Capital of the Midwest for its particularly terrific selection of mom-and-pop shops.
And there’s more…
If you know someone who loves trains, the LM&M Railroad is a must-see. It offers themed, nostalgic rides through Warren County’s scenic countryside that are perfect for all ages.
Last, but certainly not least, Fort Ancient Earthworks and Nature Preserve is a must-stop for outdoor adventurers and history buffs. Named Ohio’s first and only World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 2023, the site in Oregonia is home to more than 2,000 years of Hopewell era Native American history.
