Own Your Future Workshop: Helping you plan for long-term care. It's a gift to yourself...and your loved ones.

Own Your Future Workshop

Council on Aging’s (COA) popular Own Your Future workshop series is scheduled for this fall in Warren and Hamilton counties.  Own Your Future helps people plan for long-term care, protect their assets and understand what living options and services are available to them as they age and their care needs change.  Area experts will cover topics such as estate and financial planning, Medicare and Medicaid, advance directives and long-term care options.

Two sessions are available to choose from:

Hamilton County
Green Township Senior Center, 3620 Epley Lane, 45247
September 20 and 27, 5-7:30 pm (plan to attend both dates for full workshop)

Warren County
Otterbein Senior Lifestyle Community, 585 N. State Route 741, 45036
September 24, 9am-2pm (entire workshop offered on one date)

Registration is required and will open by August 1. You do not need to be a resident of either Hamilton or Warren counties in order to register. Participants will receive a toolkit of information, checklists and resources designed to help them create a long-term care plan of their own.  A box meal will be provided.  Space is limited and advance registration is required. Register online at www.help4seniors.org or call 513-345-3367 for more information.
